American soprano and multidisciplinary musician based in London

Let me set the scene.

From my Blues roots in Memphis to my formative years in Nashville, music has always found its way to me, in small but unforgettable moments – like realizing, at 12 years old, that I was naturally harmonizing along to ‘Viva La Vida’ on the radio. (My mom signed me up for voice lessons a few weeks later.) Or even earlier, at four years old, singing a song by The Beach Boys in the bathtub by myself (while she rushed to grab the camcorder).

Those moments sparked what has become a lifelong devotion to the power of the human voice – its ability to move, connect, and captivate.

Fast forward to now…

Now based in London, I earned my Master of Arts in Voice & Opera with distinction from the Royal Academy of Music in 2023, where I was honored to receive the Fernside Award.

I work internationally as a freelance soprano, record commercial vocals with Hi Lo Singers, and teach private voice lessons in London. Alongside my classical work, I write and perform original pop music under the name Ally London. My debut album, In Plain Sight, was released in 2023.

I believe deeply in the transformative power of song. If I’m not performing, you’ll likely find me reading on Hampstead Heath, planning my next travel adventure, or curating one too many niche Spotify playlists.
